隣の学校の子との話。
高校時代の話だが、地元の商店街の夏祭りがあった。
商店街と言っても結構な規模で、近隣地域からも見物客が来るほど賑わっていた。
俺は親の代わりに商店街の催し物に出なければならず、若い衆には焼きそばとか焼き鳥とか、火を使う重労働しか回ってこない。
とにかく焼く、水分補給が追いつかないくらい焼く。
ツレが来ても気づかないくらいハイペースで焼く。
