中学３年生の夏休み明けのこと。
学校で水泳大会があって、私は１００ｍのクロールやリレー等の種目に参加する予定でいた。
しかし最初の種目に出場した後、気分が悪くなり保健室に行くことになってしまった。
保健室では養護の先生（３０歳位の女の先生）がいて、ベッドでしばらく休むように言われた。
濡れた体をタオルで拭いて、濡れた水着とサポーターを脱いで先生に渡してベッドに入ると、先生が保健室に干してくれた。
