忘れもしない、あれは中３の夏休み前に起きた出来事。

突然、校長室に呼び出されると、
『健康優良児の学校代表に決まったから』と通達され、
『今から審査会場に行ってもらうから』と、
そのまま同級生の女の子の片瀬さんと２人一緒に、
訳が分からぬまま、養護の先生の車に乗せられた。



１時間程車は走り、公民館みたいなところでおろされると、
養護の先生とはなれ、受付の係員に誘導されながら、
体育館らしきところに連れていかれた。


すると中では、同級生と思われる他校の代表者がすでに
男女それぞれ３０人ずつぐらい集まっていた。



『ではまず体力審査を行います』
そのまま男女それぞれの更衣室に分かれた。
